1. This Privacy Policy explains how Mindpax treats your information and protects your privacy when you use the Application and MindG wristband. Mindpax intends to provide you this Privacy Policy about how Mindpax collects, uses, discloses and safeguards information that Mindpax collects or that you provide to Mindpax. This Privacy Policy applies to Mindpax Application, MindG wristband and websites located at www.mindpax.me.
2. By providing information to Mindpax or by using the Application and MindG wristband, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy and agreed to the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy. By submitting your personal data and using the Application and MindG wristband, , you explicitly agree that Mindpax shall have the right to use all automatically collected (as decribed bellow) information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
4. When you download the Application you are asked to enter information about yourself, such as the year of birth, height, weight and gender. Mindpax uses this information to determine your personalized fitness statistics – calories burned, number of steps traveled and quality and length of sleep.
5. When you use the Application and MindG wristband, Mindpax automatically collects and stores information about your physical activity.
6. Mindpax also collects the information that you enter into the Application (such as your subjective feelings or upcoming events). Mindpax uses this information to provide you with feedback on the relationship between the level of your physical activity, sleep and your subjective feelings. Mindpax also uses collected information for internal purposes such as data analysis and research to improve its products and services. Such research will only compile collected information in aggregated, de-identified statistics. Mindpax may share these statistics with affiliates and business partners. This information will never identify you personally. Mindpax does not pass on personally identifiable information to third parties, except as required by law or with your explicit consent.
7. If you choose to share contact information with Mindpax (such as an email address), Mindpax may use this information to send you updates about its products and services.
8. Information collected is processed in Czech Republic or in another European Community Member State and the processing is governed by Directive 95/46/EC of 24 October 1995 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of data and on the free movement of such data. As of 25 May 2018 the GDPR will replace the Directive 95/46/EC of 24 October 1995.
9. All collected information shall be protected by security safeguards that are appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. Mindpax shall maintain reasonable security safeguards that the collected information is protected from unauthorized or unlawful input or access. Mindpax reviews its information collection, storage and processing practices, including physical security measures, to guard against unauthorized access to systems. Mindpax restricts access to collected information to its employees and contractors who need to know that information in order to process it for Mindpax and who are subject to strict contractual confidentiality obligations. Mindpax uses encryption and password protection where appropriate.
10. Mindpax system and data are hosted on Microsoft Azure cloud. Microsoft contractually commits that Azure services have implemented security safeguards to protect the privacy of individuals, based on industry standards such as ISO/IEC 27001 and the Service Organization Controls (SOC) framework.
11. Mindpax reserves the right to change its Privacy Policy. The services that Mindpax offer are likely to change, and in the future it is therefore likely that the Privacy Policy will also need to be revised accordingly. Any changes to the Privacy Policy will be posted here.
